The AIESEC Experience
In today’s fast changing word, the secret to be able to survive and thrive is for us to be fast learning, globally minded and socially relevant leaders.
The AIESEC Experience is AIESEC’s tool to do just that; It is AIESEC’s way of developing the youth by sending them through our “Integrated Learning Experience” which includes Leadership Training, applying these through International Exchange Experiences, and a Global Learning Environment to prepare them for the challenges of the real world.
REDEFINE YOURSELF! :)

Special Ingredients
It's been weeks since my last blog post and I really don't know what entered my mind to create a post now, without a single interesting thing inside my mind. We've been busy with a lot of things wherein, thesis and org work took a lot of my time and yeah, a lot of things happened. It's not easy and sometimes, being idle could be really something. Who told you that being idle is all about doing nothing. I guess being idle could also mean making a sacrifice. Yep, you might not be doing a single task for something BUT you are idle with something because you just have to be THAT someone.
SPECIAL INGREDIENTS:
a cup of your priorities
a cup of sacrifice
a cup of willingness to pursue your passion
a cup of having a mindset that giving up is not an option
a cup of willingness to take risks
a cup of flexibility
a bowl of dreams flowing
(Mix the ingredients together and you'll be ready to be THAT someone.)

It's still up to the tip of the pen...
We had our retreat last Monday-Wednesday and it's somehow my last retreat as a student. It was really a great moment for us to reflect and reconnect with God and to our loved ones. What I loved the most was when we were given that personal time, a personal time of silence and reflection for three hours. I never knew that I could actually stay and have my personal time for straight three hours. Actually, me and my roomie, Janina felt the need of some extension and we can't believe that we actually didn't talk almost the whole time. We were busy writing our letters for our loved ones and even if we felt some weird stuffs inside our room, we just didn’t mind them.
I loved those letters, I loved how I get to express my feelings for a person and I loved reading letters telling me how much I am appreciated and loved. Last Saturday, I just received a special letter. I didn’t expect that I would read a retreat letter of four pages and it’s not the first time to receive a letter from that person. I was sick that time and it actually made me feel better... a lot better. Sometimes you’ll just realize that the traditional letter writing is still the best way to express yourself and touch other people’s lives. ;)

Redefine Yourself!
Are you satisfy with what you are doing? How about with what you have?
Are you aiming for something big?
Why not explore and redefine yourself!
There are a lot of things waiting for us. As a young leader, I am changing the world in my own way. I don't have to be on exchange right at this very moment just to be on top but my mind is open to that option. I am an AIESECer, I know that I'm changing lives one at a time.
This might look like as a promotional blog entry, but who knows, I might change one's life in minutes or hours after I publish this. Go international and experience the secrets of the world. In today's fast changing world, the secret to be able to survive and thrive is for us to be fast learning, globally minded and socially relevant leaders.
The AIESEC Experience is AIESEC's tool to do just that...It is AIESEC's way of developing the youth by sending them through our "Integrated Learning Experience" which includes Leadership Training, applying these through International Exchange Experiences, and a Global Learning Environment to prepare them for the challenges of the real world.
Why not give yourself and the world a chance?! ;)
